Interestingly, the word "Soma", Sommelier and Samant and even "Savant" are connected. Savant is someone who is has mysterious "higher intelligence" but does not have a day to day practical intelligence (another name is Autism). Savant is also connected with the pressing of the Soma juice.
They say that one can tune to the Universal Mind, if not Higher Dimensions, if one lives beyond Body, Mind and Senses (the Ego Principles) and the same principle was used by the Ancient Vedic Seers to whom the most ancient books of knowledge, the Vedas were revealed.

Steamroll Oneself Over Bed of Broken Glass
This guy certainly seems to be defying nature's law and exhibiting understanding of Super Natural Laws. There is a lot of talk about existence of extra dimensions which we do not understand - see, taste, feel or hear. These powers are to be seen with many Spiritualists - such as Christian Saints and Yogis - and Shamans, and mentioned in Patanjali's Yoga Sutra. But the effort requires a dedication of life time to just be there but the objective should not be to use it for "displaying the powers" as per the Yogic traditions - and same is true among Shamans. This guy is using it for commercial reasons.
